the results for the Shiseido contest is out. Shall not tell you who won, just check out the newspaper next thurs ya? hee but i can tell you that i didnt win the top 3 positions. Really, a big Thank You to all who have voted for me and those who helped me to rally votes. The process had been quite a learning process for me and i guess it's really good to experience all these while you are still young. =) Even though i'm disappointed about not winning abit for cash for my holiday trip, i feel really bad that i've wasted all my voter's money. (it's starting to sound like the closing speech by eliminated Superstar finalists on thursday nites.....) sorry for making you guys waste money on me. Since the beginning i guess everybody knew i wouldnt win anyway. It's okay. i'm really really grateful to you guys nonetheless. =)
anyway.. my holiday's started... time to start working too. interview at a PR firm next week.. heee all the best to me. =D

And so the photoshoot is finally over. we had to meet at 9am and i woke up at 6am to do my make up and hair. Goshhh. it's seriously hard work. In the end the photoshoot started late and we were treated to coffee/juice/tea from Spinelli in the SPH cafeteria. Pretty nice of them =) after that was the touching up of our make up and tadahhhh! time for individual photo. I was supposed to look funky cuz of my dressing. I cant wait to see how i look in that cuz the photographer said he'd email us the photos only after they are published. -_*
i think i look fugly in the photos. =( =( =( sadddddd i hope they do some photoshoot for me before they publish it. oh well. Actually all these people are really nice and i personally think the some of them looked really good. Michelle (column 1,row 3), esther (column 3, row 1, bottom left) and Felicia (column 1, row 2, left) especially. Oooooh totally the poster girl kinda face. too bad i have a big round face. life is unfair indeed. oh well. it's a cool experience though. heee i regret not wearing something more glam though. rahhhh it's over and there's nothing i can do anymore. oh and i think it'd be published next week. Please vote for me!!! (yes i know the rest are chio-er but as a friend... show face abit??? =P)

woohoo the long awaited friday is here! It has been quite a busy day for me and i kinda chionged from one place to another. Anyway the highlight of the day is duhhh - the shiseido crash course for make up and styling. It started with a lesson on makeup for photoshoot then we had a hands on practice. It was quite a disaster for me even though i put make up regularly. (can u believe it!!!) i was suddenly at a loss as to whether to put mascara or eye shadow first. bleahx. so paiseh. trimmed my eyebrows for the first time in 20years. omg. scary experience. i'm glad i survived it and i made new friends too. hee now the big thing is to get all my equipment and think of a hairstyle. i need a mini curler. damn. styling takes alot of effort manx. Fann wong's stylist, Trey was our style advisor for the day too. He's quite a humorous guy. got some useful tips from him too. hope i can get the effect and dont look too bad in the photo. Eeeeks. next wed is the photoshoot. ahhhhh i cant wait for that day to come. in the meantime, i better start thinking about makeup and stuff for the day! (on top of a crap load of projects and hw! damnnnn)

it's a wonder why people bother to do make up for a photoshoot and later have the pictures photoshopped in order to make it look good. Why not just save the make up and simply do a photoshop? Technology is so advanced these days i don think it's impossible to do that.
Anyway, it's pretty surprising that i got into the top ten of the weird contest i entered in, which was organised by Shiseido and Urban. Right. 10 out of 200+++! i guess my luck is coming after my last few weeks of suay-ness. 开运万事通 really predicts stuff pretty accurately manx. hee.. Friday is the crash course and the photoshoot is on some dont-know-when day. Now i feel as though i went for some Superstar or Singapore Idol competition. I actually need to rally people to vote for me now! *faintx* How did all this even happen?! But nevertheless, it's good to do some crazy things while you are still young! hah so i kind of psychoed myself into thinking that everything is going to be fine and i should worry about more important things like my projects and exams which are crashing down on me already. blahhhhhh should i take summer term?! i'm driving more and more people crazy with my endless debate with myself on whether i should take summer term. sighhs. stupid me.
will update again the next time round. anyway, here's the not-that-nice picture that got me into the top ten. dont ask me if the people who did the selection are blind. I dont know.
