First day of work was fine. Did the simple stuff. I guess i'll be doing those throughout my few months there or something. The contract staff is like doing the same thing as me since last july! Gosh.. I wish they'd teach me new stuff. :) I had to eat lunch on my own though. So sad. =( I dont really like to do that. I've always thought that people who eat alone are very pitiful. Now i'm one of them. Bahhhh. Luckily I've got invitation to lunch tmr already. Wheeee!!
Alright, the smu interview was pretty screwed up. We waited really long and 8 people were brought to a Group Study Room, where we decided to chat cuz we were too bored. Oh well. Some of them look really familiar. Tons of HC and VJ people applied too. Damn. I hope i can still get in despite the rubbish that i've given them. :( As for smu scholarship, I think my chances are pretty low too. Haix. If only i've got better results.. oh well.. If those people who dont really want to go smu are offered scholarship i'll be damn pissed! Hmph. Maybe I'll never get a decent scholarship in my life. Bahhhh =( =( =(

Apparently the little boy that i've been tutoring likes me! Now they want to take 2 subjects instead of 1. Maybe next time they want 3! Oh no.. I'll be so busy. As of this week, i'll see the cute lil boy like 4times a week! Which means i cant do OT if i have to. I hope they wont fire me cuz of that. =X There's another assignment that pays pretty well! Too bad i cant take it since i'll be really busy when school starts. Bahhhh
I noticed something interesting too. Somehow tutors are wanted mainly in the Hougang and Whampoa area.. i wonder why that is so. The kids there require more tuition or the parents living there are simply more kiasu?! Hmmmm..

It's their first book out day since they went into sispec. Gosh he really suffered alot! Those mean people. Hmph. Some people just like to make others miserable. I think the army should make sure all the sergeants and officers pass a psychological test first! Some seem a little crazy. Eeeks.
Everyone's like talking about uni apps and scholarships now. I havent heard anything about the scholarships that i've applied to yet. I guess i've got no chance already. Bahhh looks like i can only depend on loans or grants or watever. Damn. People want scholarship just in order to have more allowance. I need the scholarship for my studies. But i'll never be able to win those people with at least 4As 2Ms.. I feel so underprivileged. Arggghhhh. I wish some kind soul would offer me a scholarship. Maybe i screwed up all those essays so i cant get shortlisted. Oh well. :( :(
On a lighter note, I'm proud to say that i've found a job! Yay and it's at a place that i wanted to work at. UOB :) I'm starting work on tuesday. Hopefully there's something for me to learn there. =P My SMU interview is on wednesday! I gotta pass that!! Essay and 8-ppl interview. Ahhhhh. I must outtalk all of them. Muahahaha~ =D

YAY i'm shortlisted for smu interview! Happy happy =) =) Now i'd better try to remember how to write essays. They still require essays for the interview. Argghhhh I wonder what they'd ask during the interview. I think i need to read every single article in the newspaper from now on or something. =X
Anyway i'm still jobless and basically now i need a job to past time. I'm so bored sitting at home all day long. Bahhhh =( i miss him. Heard that his platoon got punished on the first day or something. Even ocs has no punishment for the first two weeks lo. Bunch of mean people. Gggrrrr

Usually when i'm attached i cant be bothered about my weight at all, except when my weight is shooting up like nobody's business. I think now it is. Ahhhh the army expanded those boys' appetites, now they all have like gi-normous appetite. It's scary. And so being with one of those boys, I kept eating too. I put on like 2kg in one week. Gosh. How is that possible. Now i shall live on Subway subs. Without the cookies. Yup. I need to exercise!! We went bowling last week and since then my legs ached for 3-4days. I couldnt walk, sit, climb stairs properly. Utter torture! =( I'd better get my bum off my chairs and jog a little. Bahhhh.. and so i had these on last thurs and fri. Have more in my cam but i'm too lazy to upload. =X
yummy!! Oh ya like what sukuen said, ching has all the pictures of expensive food on her blog but ours are usually full of very common food. Ahhh it's like different social hierachy or something. =( Expensive food can be identified very easily. It's when you see a large plate with only a small portion of food in the middle. High class dining. Ahhh I wish i'd be willing to spend that kind of money on food too. =X But i'm too cheapskate. Hahaha =P

I'm jobless again. I think i'm really down on my luck. When i'm not looking for a job, there's like decent jobs everywhere. Now there's absolutely nothing! Ggrrrr spending time travelling to agencies just for registering can be such a chore and a waste of money. Hate it!!! =( I guess i should pray and hope that some school wants me to be relief teacher or something. Oh wells. Life sux. As usual.
The boys have gone to the various camps today. i wonder how everyone's doing. Back to my ole boring days. Ahhh. Speaking of which, i've got loads of photos from the past week which are supposed to be posted. I'm feeling lazy though. Perhaps tomorrow or something. =)

And so i went for the POP.. It was short and simple.. Nice to see that all of them dont have to go back to Tekong anymore.. it's so far! Oh my gosh.. long train journey, super long queue for shuttle bus and not that smooth ferry ride to the island. Argghhh.. It's lucky that i only have to be there once =X yeah anyway i saw many people there and i captured pictures of a few as fast as i could. Heee
haha they were standing next to each other.. lucky boys.. apparently they were chatting non-stop during the parade!
yes and ben lim! I wonder where jianglei disappeared to but that's all i got for taurus company :)
guess who were there? Hongyi's parents!!! ahhhh despite their tight schedule they actually went there to watch hongyi's POP.. So nice!!! :) He's such a lucky boy!
Okie the rest of my photos simply have rows of 'green men' so i shall just not post them.. Gotta show my pretty shoes which i custom made with elena. It's soooo pretty :)
the ends of the straps are prickling me though.. had to put plaster over them to make them more comfy.. oh well.. it's still veri nice! =D
Today i went to 2 open houses - NTU and NUS ones. I think NTU's suck. Apparently the events were supposed to start by 10am, but at 11plus when i got there, the whole place was like DEAD. I went to School of Comm and Info (the one i WAS interested in) and there was no one except a few students who were mugging. No maps no guide post. Utter disappointment. Now i dont feel like going to the NTU anymore. Haix.. To think i wanted to study that course. Forget it. I just left for NUS after i got tired of walking and seeing no one. Gggrrrr. NUS was okie, pretty good compared to NTU. I should have gone to SMU's open house. Damn. I want try the Hippo Rides. Sounds cool. Ahhh i shall go tmr and hopefully the events are as fun as today's.
Anyway for lunch we went for Pizza Walker at wisma! The food's quite good! Hee except there isnt much variety.

I think the pizza is too big though. I dont really think most girls can finish a pizza on their own after having salad and stuff. Nevertheless, It's a rather cheap semi buffet! Go try it! :) I think there's a promotion now!

Oh ya.. there's free candy floss outside CK Tang! Ah i love candy floss but i can never understand how it can be made from a spoonful of candy powder. If somebody knows must tell me hor. :P

Wheeee tomorrow is baby's POP already.. so exciting!! After that he'd have a relatively long break and we can go out together for many many days!! :) :) Since he enlisted it feels like i hardly see him and even if i do, it'd be for about a day or so.. :( i wonder where he'd be posted to.. If he gets into OCS he'd be gone for 3wks!! Ahhhh terrible~~~ I shant think so much first.. Holiday comes first! :D
Anyway i talked about my cool handpainted skirt and i havent posted the picture yet.. here it is now!
It's one of the nicest skirts i have.. hope the glitter wouldnt come off after too many times of washing.. =X
Yesterday we watched Big Momma's House2! It's really funny and heartwarming.. Everybody should go watch it! I wanna wtch Brokeback Mountain too! too bad it's R21 :( stupid rating. why not just make it M18 with sexual scenes or something. Idiots! Ggrrrr.
Did i mention that the uni applications are driving me crazy?!! Some of them need appraisals and referrals and what not.. Gosh.. I'm sure the teachers are so free to write for us manx.. I wonder why a simple application can be so complicated.. not like it's scholarship. Bahhhh and why are people without S papers at disadvantage?! It's unfair :(

My results are not good, despite RJ's supposedly record breaking results yet again. Oh well. 3A 1C and a freaking C6!!!! from my standard of writing here it's not difficult to imagine, though i'm kind of disappointed. Not even a B. :( :( :( Forget it. I'm still going to apply for some scholarships due to the sad financial situation of my family and yeah, fingers crossed! Hopefully some kind soul is willing to sponsor my uni education. I promise i'll study really hard!! :)
As usual, baby has done me proud. 4A 2Distinctions A1 Wahhhh.. how often do people get such results. Not a single C in his 2years of JC life i suppose. Even Harvard is looking for him for interview now. Hahaha me and my genius boyfriend. I'm proud of him. I think he wasnt too happy despite his fanstastic results cuz i cried when i got my results. =X Eeeks. Well looking on the bright side, it's the 3rd time i pass Physics in my 2years and i got an A! Yay!! I should reward myself! *grinx*
Anyway after the whole traumatic time in the school hall, I met my family for dinner and we went Swissotel Merchant Court!! Wheee it was not bad. I went even though i was feeling full at that time i met them. Heee greedy me.

special mention!! Deep fried ice cream! Only my sis tried it and she said it taste pretty good! :P
They may look simple and common, but they are freaking expensive!! 7bucks per glass! Crazy. I can buy like at least 3watermelons with that. =X

and now i gotta worry about uni application! Arggghhhh so troublesome! >_<
